This privacy policy is applicable to any personal information which is given by you to Rachael's Children's Trust (RCT) via this website.  Where this Privacy Policy is inconsistent with the terms and conditions / general disclaimer of RCT's website, the terms of this Privacy Policy shall prevail.

"You" shall mean you, the user of the site, "RCT" shall mean Rachael's Children's Trust, UK Registered Charity No. 1111378.

When using this website you will encounter areas such as contact forms / registration forms / information request forms / enews-letter subscription forms where you may be asked to enter User Information. Such User Information will only be used for the purposes stated at the collection point or in accordance with this Privacy Policy. All/any data collected from our website is held in a secure database with our ISP.

RCT shall not sell or otherwise transfer the User Information to unaffiliated third parties without the approval of You. If applicable, You will have the opportunity to indicate whether You would like to "opt out" of receiving promotional and/or marketing information about other products, services and offerings from RCT and/or any third parties.

RCT reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of user behaviour and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the site and to inform advertisers of such information as well as the number of users that have been exposed to or clicked on their advertising banners. RCT will provide only aggregated data from these analyses to third parties. RCT is not responsible for any actions or policies of any third parties who request personal information and users should check the applicable privacy policy of such party.

RCT will never store, keep or accept any of your credit card information over the Internet commonly known as the World Wide Web (www). All payments (for gifts/ donation/ purchases) are handled by PayPal - global leader in online payment, which uses a Verisign Secured website for its transactions in accordance with their own Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
PayPal (Europe) Ltd., is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the United Kingdom as an electronic money institution.

RCT will never allow access to its computers, servers or networks to any unauthorised third party who may gain from access to user information, however as RCT does not store or view credit card information, this sensitive data can never be compromised.

You may notify RCT of any updates, amendments and corrections to previously collected User Information by emailing info@rct.org.uk. Further, upon Your request, RCT will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete Your User Information from its database; however, it may be impossible to delete Your entry with some residual information because of backups and records of deletions.

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information RCT holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. (We charge a fee for information requests.) Please address requests to the Data Protection Officer info@rct.org.uk.

If you are under 18, please make sure that you obtain your parent/guardian's permission beforehand whenever you provide personal information to any of RCT's websites. Users without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information.
